Summer is Coming! Get Ready for STEAM Camp 2019
Summer has never been more fun and educational than at Still Waters S.T.E.A.M. Camp 2019! Get Ready for 9 weeks full of SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART, and MATH. 9 weeks of individual camps! May 28th through July 26th Full day camp! running from 7:30am - 6:00pm Servicing students from Rising Kindergarten through Rising 6th grade Every week students will participate in hands-on fun experiments from making elephant toothpaste, to forming holdable fog bubbles, to engineering earthquake towers, to designing chromatography T-shirts and much more! Each week also includes an exciting field trip to places like High Touch High Tech, Fernbank Science Center and Malibu Grand Prix! Throughout the month of February, students will be studying prominent Black Americans whose influence helped to shape the culture and ideals of our great country! Student-Led biographies and guest speakers will be the main events during this month as we dive into history! Get Ready Parents: Still Waters in-house STEAM program launches Tuesday, January 29th! Unlike traditional STEM, STEAM methods are developed to accelerate understanding and instill passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. This program will delve deep into hands-on, project-based learning for 3rd - 6th grade!
