Happy Valentine’s!

SWLC classrooms had a great time this past Wednesday as we shared God's love with one another in celebration of Valentine's Day! Our Valentine's party was a lot of fun! During the Valentine's exchange, students brought cards and candies to school for their classmates, and as our "homework" for the evening, they were encouraged to pass out special Valentine's treats to their friends and neighbors to help learn the value of sharing. Thanks to all the teachers, parents and volunteers who helped make this a memorable event for our young scholars!

February Field Trips!

This month our 2nd through 4th Graders are paying a visit to The Jimmy CarterPresidential Library and Museum where we will get to experience a tour through the amazing life of our country's 39th President!Not to be outdone, our K4/K5 learners are planning a special visit to McDaniels Farm Park to see what a working farm from the 1930s was like!Parents, want to be a Field Trip volunteer? 2nd Nine Weeks Report Cards and Newsletter

Attention Parents! Student report cards will be sent home on Friday, January 12th! Please review, sign, and return report cards to your scholar’s teacher using the included envelope. Our Quarterly Newsletter with articles written by teachers and staff will also be sent that day through the school mailing list.

New Year’s Announcements!

Welcome to the New Year! Our next Spirit Night is January 16th. This is a school-wide event and all families and friends of SWLC are invited to attend! More details to come. President's Day is Monday, February 19th. All SWLC programs will be closed in recognition of the holiday. Day school’s Lions class welcomes our own Elementary director Miss Tiffany Chia to help with morning transition time. Thanks, Ms. Tiffany, for offering some time each morning to help prepare our Lions for the next stage of learning! Lions parents, please welcome her and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about our K4 classes as your young scholar progresses from Day School to Elementary!
